Electric Shock Drowning: The Invisible Killer

Join veteran ABYC Adjunct Instructor and Master Electrician Kevin Ritz in an eye opening webinar covering a topic every marine technician, marina operator, boater and everyone in between should be familiar with. Electric Shock Drowning (ESD) is a preventable accident in which a swimmer is exposed to electricity leaking into the water through a boat, dock or other type of power source, rendering the swimmer incapable of actively swimming and thereby drowning.

You will hear a few case studies of fatalities that have occurred as well as take a look at preventative measures and wiring practices that will keep this tragedy from happening.
